The Guler Ugur Memorial Fund was set up on January 24, 2015 in New York City to memorialize the beloved photographer Guler Ugur, whose tragic passing on New Year's Eve has shocked and saddened her friends all around the world. Guler touched the heart of every person she ever met, regardless of age, gender, race... Many people have expressed the desire to help preserve Guler's passion for life, beauty, and photography, and we hope the Guler Ugur Memorial Fund can be the platform for all of us to honor Guler's work and continue her dreams.

The donations have funded / will fund the following events:

  • October 23 - November 20, 2016 | Color of 90s New York - photography exhibition at Wild Project of Guler's early work, which she had planned to show during 2015, plus a private screening on the opening day of "Killed by Auto" the documentary by Derek Rose
